10 March 2026

The official WCED portal opens for all new applications for the 2027 school year.

15 April 2026

The application window concludes. Late applications will be processed after on-time applications.

End of May (Estimated)

Parents will start receiving notifications regarding the outcome of their applications.

To finalize your application on the WCED portal, please ensure you have certified digital copies of the following documents ready for upload.

Documents must be clear and legible.

Latest official School Report Card

Official Birth Certificate of learner

ID of parent(s) / guardian(s)

Proof of residence (Utility bill / Lease)

Study permit (if foreign national)

All applications for the 2027 school year are processed online via the Western Cape Education Department.
